About Maeve
Maeve Sullivan is a proud Chicago Southside Irish native who has recently completed her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University under the tutelage of Dr. Autumn West. At OCU, Ms. Sullivan coached with Joe Fitzgerald, Dr. Jake Johnson, and Jan McDaniel. She is currently pursuing her Master of Music degree at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin, studying with Mary Brennan and Dearbhla Collins.
She performs and teaches a myriad of repertoire including opera, classical, music theater, CCM, folk, and rock. Ms. Sullivan trains singers of all levels out of her home and virtually via Zoom. She has studied voice from a young age and has a wide variety of performance experience, ranging from operatic roles internationally in northern Italy to music theater roles and regular concert performances domestically (as well as the occasional party princess-ing). Ms. Sullivan has also garnered directing experience with OCU’s student-led opera company, OPERAtions, where she served as an Executive and Artistic Co-Director.
Her mission has always been inspiring collaboration between artists. It is far too often that we take making music and art with peers for granted, as well as the power in doing so. At OCU, Ms. Sullivan reinvigorated the OPERAtions company by programming jams for students and by partnering with OCU’s student-led composition program, Project 21, to write and perform new operatic works.
